  • 1 package of firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Start by pressing the tofu to remove excess water. Cut it into cubes and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until they are crispy and golden on all sides. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté for a minute or until fragrant.
  4. Add the broccoli florets and red bell pepper slices to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey (or maple syrup). Pour this sauce over the veggies in the skillet.
  6. Return the crispy tofu to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the tofu is heated through.
